UNDERGROUND LABOURER – Water & Sewer Construction
WCL is looking for an Underground Labourer to join our water and sewer crew following earthworks. Experience is preferred but not required — if you’re willing to work hard, learn the trade, and be part of a solid underground crew, we want to hear from you.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Previous experience in underground, water and sewer, or civil construction is an asset (not required).
- Willingness to learn underground work including trenching, pipe installation support, and backfill.
- Comfortable working in and around trenches with excavators and other equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools and assist pipe layers, topmen, and operators.
- Strong awareness of job site and trench safety (or willingness to learn).
- Physically able to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Able to take direction from foremen and crew leads.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
REQUIRED TICKETS:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).
SCHEDULE:
- 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- 6 days on / 1 day off
- Weather dependent work
