GRADER OPERATOR – Earthworks Construction
Expected start date: May 2026.
WCL is looking for an experienced Grader Operator who can cut grade, finish clean, and keep production moving. If you take pride in precision work and know your way around a blade, we want you on our crew.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3–5+ years experience operating a grader in heavy civil construction.
- Strong skills in fine grading, road building, and final trim work.
- Experience with CAT, John Deere, or similar graders.
- Able to complete daily machine inspections and basic maintenance.
- Excellent grade control and ability to read plans, stakes, and elevations.
- Experience with GPS and machine control systems.
- Safety-focused with strong job site awareness.
- Willing to work long hours in all weather conditions.
- Team player with clear on-site communication.
- Able to adapt and problem-solve when conditions change.
REQUIRED TICKETS:
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain).
SCHEDULE:
- 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30-minute lunch).
- 12 days on / 2 days off (every second weekend off).
- Weather dependent work.
